2010 Primary and Secondary Regional Trials Information Pack

These trials are for boys and girls, primary and secondary, in age groups: 
11 yrs, 12 yrs, 14 yrs, 15 yrs, 18/19 yrs.

commencing at 9:00am and concluding at 3:00pm.

Officials Meeting A meeting of attending district officials will take place at the start of the day for fee and forms collection.
Catering A canteen will operate throughout the trials.
Equipment Students will need to supply all personal playing and protection equipment.  (See below in Risk Management.)
Competitors Districts are invited to nominate individual students.
Cost The cost per student is $12.00.  This must be paid to the Convenor at the beginning of the day.
Umpires Students will be required to umpire matches throughout the day.
Carnival The draw for the day's trials will be determined on the day.
Selections Results (wins and losses) will determine the players chosen to represent Metropolitan East.
First Aid A teacher with a current first aid certificate will be in attendance.
Risk Management Eye protection is mandatory.
All students will be required to provide their own eye protection or hire a pair of glasses from the courts on the day.

Students will be expected to arrive at the centre no later than 8:30am and stay until the completion of the trials at 3:00pm.  No student will be allowed to leave the centre without the express permission of a team official.
