The Metropolitan East Regional Sport Board consists of members appointed 
as provided for by Education Queensland.  Members of the Board will include:

•    two representatives from the Region's Primary Management Committee

•    one representative elected from regional primary sport specific bodies

•    two representatives from the Region's Secondary Management Committee

•    one representative elected from regional secondary sport specific bodies

•    one representative of the Region's special education centres

•    the Regional School Sport Officer (ex officio)

•    the Assistant Regional School Sport Officer (ex officio)

•    three representatives from among parents, sport and recreation and the community

•    an Education Queensland nominee

•    an additional Education Queensland employee as Chair.
