Combined Primary and Secondary Trials Info Pack

The Combined Primary and Secondary (including Students with a Disability) Track and Field Trial for 10 to 19 years will be held in the Main Stadium of the Queensland Sport and Athletic Centre, Kessels Road, Nathan, on Tuesday 19 August and Thursday 21 August from 8:30am to 4:30pm on each day.

Congratulations to Rachel Dodds on a wonderful performance at the Regional Track and Field Trials. In Event 186, Women's 19 years and under 800 metres final for Athletes with a Disability, Rachel's race time was 3 minutes 39.51 seconds. Rachel's classification is T35.
The old world record was set by Canadian Andrea Cole at Birmingham in Great Britain on 17 July 1999 and stood at 3 minutes 43.29 seconds.
Ratification of Rachel's record by the World Body is now being sought.
